FMNHS professor announced as Editor in Chief of new open access journal for healthcare simulation

At the annual conference of the Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine Advances in Simulation (SESAM) in Belfast, Professor Debra Nestel was announced as Editor in Chief of their new open access journal, Advances in Simulation. 

The journal provides a forum to share scholarly practice to advance the use of simulation in the context of health and social care. Professor Debra Nestel will be joined by three Senior Editors, each prominent in the international healthcare community - Dr Peter Dieckmann (Copenhagen), Professor Tanya Manser (Bonn) and Associate Professor Ryan Brydges (Toronto). Debra Nestel is Professor of Simulation Education in Healthcare, School of Rural Health and Course Coordinator of the Master of Health Professional Education, Health Professions Education and Educational Research (HealthPEER), Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at the Clayton campus.
