New Lecture Theatre Equipment workshop

Enhance your learning space tech skills

The Staff  Development Unit is pleased to announce February dates for the Working with New Lecture Theatre Equipment workshop.

This workshop is open to all interested academic and professional staff and is designed to enhance attendees’ knowledge of the educational technology available in newly refurbishment lecture theatres.

Through practical demonstration and discussion the workshop will cover:

• Familiarisation with the new height adjustable lectern, dual screen preview monitors and easy to navigate AV user interface.

• Simultaneously presenting different content (laptop/tablet/PC/doc cam) to each of the projector displays.

• How to make effective use of the high-definition document camera to display 3D objects or hand written notes and diagrams.

• Wirelessly presenting from your laptop or tablet while moving around the theatre.

• Connecting to other theatres for tele-teaching via video conferencing.

• Introduction to digital inking over your prepared teaching material.


These 45 minutes sessions are being offered at both the Caulfield and Clayton campuses.

Tuesday 17 February

Times: 9.00am - 9.45am, 10.15am - 11.00am and 11.30am - 12.15pm

Time: 9.00am - 9.45am, 10.15am - 11.00am and 11.30am - 12.15pm
