If you are unable to attend but are able to send a colleague in your place you will not be charged the fee.

This briefing workshop for academic and professional staff addresses key cultural attributes and gives 8 methods for positive engagement with students and the broader community and will cover:
· The whole presentation was very engaging and informative

Dr Fiona Hill is a Cultural Anthropologist & Educator with 30 years commercial, educational, cultural and philanthropic Arab Region experience.
Fiona is a National Director of the Australia-Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI) and Executive Committee Member of the Victoria Chapter. In 2008 she gained an Australian Government Endeavour Executive Award to observe for three months at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
In a voluntary capacity, Fiona served 10 years on the Executive Committee of Australia’s peak Arab community advocacy body Australia Arabic Council; 10 years on the Executive of World Conference on Religions for Peace/Australia; and two terms (2002 – 2008) with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade Council for Australian Arab Relations (CAAR).
Dr Fiona Hill is Honorary Fellow, School of Humanities & Social Sciences, Deakin University, and Co-Investigator in the University of Melbourne ‘Australia-Syria Archaeological & Historical Research Collaboration Project.’ She is the Australia & New Zealand representative for the Kuwait Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs ‘SELA’ (linkage) Project’s ‘New Role for Oriental Studies Scholars & Civilisational Dialogue Specialists’ to promote philosophical engagement with Muslim populations.
