Information session: Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes

On October 1st 2014, the "Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes, 8th edition" became mandatory in Victoria as a condition of scientific procedures premises licences, scientific procedures fieldwork licences, and specified animal breeding licences.

You are invited to attend a joint Department of Environment and Primary Industries / Monash University information session on the new edition of the Australian Code.

If you are an investigator, teacher, Animal Ethics Committee member, animal technician, executive officer, licence nominee or governance officer, you are encouraged to come along and learn about the changes that affect you. This information session will provide you with an overview of what you need to know to comply with the new Australian code and ask questions to the State Regulator.
