Jarrel Seah and Jennifer Tang have recently become a well known pair of names around Monash since their win at Microsoft's Imagine Cup competition last month. The two medical students won the competition after developing the Eyenaemia app which gives users an anaemia risk assessment based on a self-taken photograph of their lower eyelid.

As part of their prize, the students were invited to meet with Bill Gates and talk about their work with him. Since their meeting, Bill Gates has featured a story on his blog about the creators of Eyenaemia and his advice as they continue to develop the tool for worldwide use.
