The Faculty would like to announce the winners of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) held on Friday August 21, 2015.
The overall winner was Zoe Marks from the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, with her 3 minute thesis title: Cancer 'Signatures' in blood. Reading the fine print! Zoe will now go into the Monash University wide 3 Minute Thesis competition against overall winners from other Faculties on Wednesday 16 September, 2015.
2nd place went to Xiaoyan Huang from School of Nursing. 3MT title: Communication about maternal breast cancer with children in China.
3rd place went to Robert Eres from School of Psychological Sciences. 3MT title: Understanding the moral and empathic brain.
People's Choice Award went to Susan Cartledge from School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. 3MT title: Are we training the right people? Susan will now go into the Wildcard competition where all the People's Choice Award winners from every faculty will compete and the overall winner will have the chance to go through to the Monash University wide 3MT final.

It was a good turn out for the event with around 100 attendees.
