Closing date for expressions of interest is 18 August.
- Students work full time for some or all of vacation periods and then 8 hours a week during semester. Actual start dates are arranged by the supervisor and student.
- The project can be experimental and based in a laboratory, clinical, computational or mathematical/statistical.
- Biomedical Research Victoria, through the UROP team, co-ordinate the call for applications from students and conduct the initial screening interviews. Suitable candidates will then be introduced to individual supervisors.
- Students are employed by your institution as casual staff at a rate equivalent to HEW2 (~$30/ hr). Students must work full-time during some or all of the vacation periods & 8 hours a week during semester. The BioMedVic is not able to provide funds to pay UROP students.
