Dr Janet Bray has been awarded the Bethlehem Griffiths Research Foundation 2015 Young Researcher of the Year Award, which includes a $5000 award for research related travel.
The Bethlehem Griffiths Research Foundation provides funding support to scientists and health professionals undertaking research projects in Victoria which complement the patient services provided by Calvary Health Care Bethlehem in the areas of palliative care and progressive neurological diseases.
The Foundation introduced the young researcher award to celebrate the best and brightest at a time when such recognition can do much to encourage mid-career scientists. Dr Bray was presented with this award on Monday 10th August at the Monash Conference Centre. This is in recognition of her significant achievements in the field of stroke research.
