The Young Investigator Award (YIA) provides funding to promising investigators to encourage and promote quality research in clinical oncology. The purpose of this research grant is to fund physicians during the transition from a fellowship program to a faculty appointment.
The Young Investigator Award (YIA) is a one-year research grant totaling $50,000, paid in two increments to the awardee’s institution. The applicant must be a physician (MD, DO, or international equivalent) who is currently within the last two years of his/her final subspecialty training at an academic medical institution at the time of grant submission. Applicants should be planning an investigative career in clinical oncology.
The 2015 YIA application cycle will open on July 1, 2014 and online applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on September 25, 2014. Please read the 2015 Request for Proposals (RFP) for eligibility criteria and instructions for completing a YIA application in Easygrants
