Three generations of inspiration at SPHPM

Prof Jane Fisher, Dr Rosie Dwyer and Prof Basil Hetzel represent three generations at The School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
Monash University's Department of Social & Preventive Medicine foundation Professor and Head, Dr Basil Hetzel has had a profound impact on public health.  His development of iodized oil injections improved the quality of life for billions of people.
Prof Jane Fisher, Prof Hetzel's stepdaughter, is the director of the Jean Hailes Research Unit which specialises in women's health, and her daughter Dr Rosie Dwyer is a registrar in emergency medicine.
Watch the video to see how three generations in one family have made a real difference to public health.
