Appointment of Associate Dean (Research Strategy)

Following the appointment of Professor Matt Gillespie to the Research portfolio in the Faculty Office, a decision has been taken to appoint Professor Gillespie as Associate Dean (Research Strategy).

Professor Gillespie will take up this appointment as of 7 July 2014.

Professor Gillespie will have a range of responsibilities, in particular, responsibility for relations with medical research institutes, career development pathways for early career researchers and fellows, and preparation of large scale bids such as programs and centres of excellence.
