State, society, stigma: Rethinking disease in a global age

This two-day international symposium will explore the critical, cross-disciplinary issues relating to global disease. There will be five different areas of discussion that cover topics including anthropology, sociology and history:
 It aims to address the gaps between knowledge relating to disease control and cure, and the application of that knowledge to human behaviour, spaces and places.
