ARMI External Speaker Program: Mining mutagenic processes, oncogenic drivers and clinical utility from cancer genomes

Professor Sean Grimmond, Laboratory Head, Genomics of Development and Disease Division, Queensland Centre for Medical Genomics
Tuesday 1st July, 12-1pm

3rd Floor Conference Room, Building 75, Clayton Campus

It is now well established that a cancer’s mutational burden drives tumour formation, influences disease progression and can dictate its sensitivity to chemotherapy. The Grimmond Laboratory has pioneered large-scale cancer genome sequencing (>pancreatic, ovarian and oesophageal) primarily as part of Australia’s International Cancer Genome Consortium effort.  See attached flyer for details.
